½cupChambord Liqueur
4tbspsbrown sugar
2tbspstomato paste
1tbspWorcestershire Sauce
1tbspmolasses
1 – 2 tspschipotle powder
Instructions
Add all of the ingredients in to a medium-sized, heavy pot over medium-high heat and stir to combine.
As the mixture heats up and begins to bubble, turn the heat to medium-low.
Continue to stir occasionally to keep from sticking and burning on the sides and bottom of the pot.
When the mixture is reduced by half, remove from the heat; it's ready to serve.
Notes
This recipe makes approximately 1 cup of sauce. Because it has tomatoes, the mixture gets hot when it starts to bubble and spit, so be careful when stirring and standing near the pot.
